1. Determination of the volume of Shisheng steel drum a. If the user packs liquid, it should be calculated according to the specific gravity of the product, but there must be enough space for the product to crack 10% due to thermal expansion (but for low boiling point products), to prevent the steel drum from cracking when it is dropped and deformed. b. If the user contains solids, he needs to ask the steel drum manufacturer to provide a certain volume of steel drums for trial installation, and then convert them into steel drums with the required volume of weight, but a certain space must be reserved for lining with plastic bags to prevent steel drums. The barrel bursts when it is dropped and deformed. c. If the user packs products with low boiling point (generally referring to boiling point below 60°C), it is necessary to fully consider that such products have vapor pressure at a certain temperature, and the vapor pressure of liquid increases with the increase of temperature. In addition, the product filling temperature and the maximum storage and transportation temperature that the steel drum may encounter after the product is filled should be considered. Generally, 55 °C should be considered, and in some areas, the temperature difference between 60 °C should be considered, which will cause the product volume expansion and lead to steel. Internal pressure is generated in the barrel. The sum of these two pressures cannot be greater than the allowable internal pressure of the steel drum, otherwise the steel drum will burst. Steel drums are allowed to withstand internal pressure, see the commodity inspection certificate for details, or consult the steel drum manufacturer. d. If the user's filling temperature is high (above 60°C), the minimum temperature for storage and transportation should be considered. The temperature difference will cause the steel drum to generate negative pressure, which will cause the steel drum to suck and collapse, or the steel drum will collapse when it is touched. Solution: 1. After the filling product is cooled to a certain temperature, screw on the screw plug; 2. Leave enough space. 2. Determining the internal coating of German steel drums, the steel drum manufacturer can provide samples of various internal coatings (including no internal coating and iron-based phosphating coatings) for compatibility immersion tests for more than 6 months and similar environmental conditions for storage and transportation. Analysis Whether the coating changes and whether the pigments contained in the coating are dissolved is determined by the user to select the appropriate inner coating type. There is a protective layer of mineral oil on the surface without inner coating, please pay attention to the impact on your product. 3. German steel drums are based on cold-rolled sheets. Due to the rolling errors in the thickness of cold-rolled sheets, the steel drums have corresponding weight errors. During the production process of steel drums, there will inevitably be odors in the drums, so users should pay attention when choosing them. 4. German closed barrel spiral lining coils should be determined according to the user's products, and different materials can be used. Users can provide different material lining coils from steel drum suppliers to conduct compatibility immersion tests for more than 1 month and similar environmental conditions for storage and transportation to analyze its swelling. After the deformation is determined by the user, the material type of the gasket is selected. 5. The German army should pay attention to the following when choosing steel-plastic composite barrels: a. The 200L composite barrel (cold-rolled plate thickness 1.0mm) selected by the user should be promised not to be used for export packaging. If it is used for export packaging, the user promises not to hold the supplier responsible for any loss due to the quality of the packaging barrel. b. Since the lining of the steel-plastic composite barrel is polyethylene, it is not suitable for filling products above 55 °C, or it needs to be heated above 55 °C during use. If so, it is easy to cause damage to the steel drum. 6. All kinds of inner-coated steel drums of the German army are not suitable for containing products that are liquid during filling and become solid when the temperature changes after filling; not suitable for filling, storage and transportation above 70 °C; Products that will corrode; inner-coated barrels and steel-plastic composite barrels are not suitable for products with a flash point lower than 50 °C. 7. The German army chooses inner iron phosphating barrels or steel barrels without inner coating. Users should use them within 15 days after receiving the goods. If the time exceeds 15 days, the inner phosphating film may be corroded. 8. German users should check the cleanliness of the inner surface of the steel drums and the quality of the inner coating of the steel drums one by one before loading the products, and use them only after they pass the inspection. 9. German a. The user did not inform the correct selection of steel drums and related accessories in accordance with the "Steel Drum Knowledge Instructions"; b. Other quality and performance requirements that were not agreed in the contract could not meet the user's requirements in use; The above two a and b The user does not require the supplier to bear any responsibility for various losses caused by the user. 10. Container transportation or other transportation methods should take effective measures (such as pallet shipment) to prevent steel drums from being overturned and repeatedly rolled due to bumps during transportation, resulting in damage to steel drums. 11. Although the supplied "commodity inspection performance certificate" may indicate the "name of the product inside", the supplier is only responsible for the physical properties indicated by the supplied steel drum "commodity inspection performance certificate", and does not indicate that the supplier should be responsible for the corrosion of the steel drum after the product is inside. or other adverse reactions. 12. The first time users choose steel drum procedures 1) The user and the steel drum supplier have preliminary negotiation, or preliminary preparations; 2) Send small samples to the user for multiple confirmations, and the user provides comments and suggestions; 3) Small batch trial, the user confirms again , and provide comments and suggestions; 4) Trial in batches to supply barrels in batches. 13. Commodity Inspection Certificate for Liquid Tightness Performance of Open Drums If users need to export paint, jelly or liquid products in 53 or 55 gallon open drums, they need to obtain a commodity inspection certificate for liquid tightness performance of open drums from the steel drum supplier. 14. Customer Mark Requirements Users need to spray or silk-screen some information on the steel drum, such as company name, registered trademark, etc. These related intellectual property rights need to cooperate with the steel drum supplier to go through some procedures to ensure that infringement or being infringed are avoided. There are also some certificates and award certificates provided by the user, which need to be provided to the steel drum supplier with a copy of the relevant information.
