Galvanized iron barrels, that is, after the metal barrels are smelted and formed, a layer of zinc is plated on the surface to improve the corrosion resistance of the products. Due to the particularity of the products contained in galvanized iron drums, the following points should be paid special attention when using:
1. Regularly inspect the iron drum for corrosion, protrusions, defects, dents, and leaks. Put defective iron drums in separate secondary packaging drums or leak emergency drums.
2. Make sure the iron bucket has its own proper lid and is well sealed.
3. Accurately identify waste oil drums.
4. Make sure the drum and contents are compatible. For example, don't put acids in regular iron buckets or solvents in plastic buckets.
